I’m an independent video journalist and professional media creator in Taiwan, where I’ve lived since 2007. My areas of interest are human rights, gender equality, and democracy in Asia.
As of Spring, 2019, I am producing two documentaries; one chronicling Taiwan’s marriage equality movement from referendum to realization, and another which examines the social impact of Taiwan’s unique “criminal adultery” law.
I worked on documentaries for Discovery Channel and Channel News Asia, wrote and produced animation for Next Animation Studio, news copy and animation for Reuters Media Express, managed teams of creatives and translators in English and Mandarin, and supplied freelance photo and video services to 3D World magazine, Lonely Planet and The Wall Street Journal.
